We’re supposed to get 10-12 inches of snow today. Last time I checked, one of the main reason I moved away from Minnesota was to avoid this specific occurrence. I’m just glad it’s during Christmas break and there are some other adults that will be trapped in the house along with the kids and me. Noah and my uncle visiting from Miami are super pumped and Noah wants to make snowcones with his new snowball maker to sell to all the neighbors.
Maybe I’ll plan my New Years Eve menu too. We always do a smorgasbord of appetizers that we nosh on throughout the night. These super simple 3 ingredient Swedish meatballs will definitely be making an appearance.
All you need is sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, frozen meatballs, a slow cooker and 3 hours. They are creamy, a little bit tangy and just so dang good.
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 2 (10.75 ounce) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 (24 ounce) bags frozen meatballs
- Dump meatballs in a crockpot. In a large bowl, mix together the sour cream and soup. Pour over the meatballs and mix until combined. Cook on low for 3 hours and serve.
