Sunday Inspiration {We All Scream for Ice Cream}

Cake Batter Ice Cream 5
July is National Ice Cream Month and next Sunday is National Ice Cream Day so today I’m sharing a bunch of fun, tasty and unique ice cream recipes that we are dying to try this summer. I sadly have not broken out the ice cream maker yet since we’ve been so darn busy but Noah’s birthday is on the 19th so I have plans for several flavors since we all like something different. He requested chocolate ice cream with chocolate chips and Oreos so watch out for that recipe in the coming weeks. That kid is a chocoholic to the max. Joel wants coffee ice cream and I’m also going to try a refreshing gelato recipe I hope to share if it’s any good. Yay for summer and birthdays and made up food holidays!

Here’s some more deliciousness we’ll have to try to squeeze into summer.

My kids exclusively drink milk or water so when we go out to eat we occasionally let them get lemonade. They get pretty excited so I know this lemonade ice cream would be a huge hit with them.

A toasted s’mores shake SCREAMS summer.

And so do these adorable watermelon pops (I have this popsicle mold and love it).

I have had this ice cream cake pinned forever. I think this summer it’s finally time to try it.

Homemade rainbow sherbert is easier than you think and sounds so refreshing.

Cake mix + ice cream = milkshake heaven.

For all the other chocolate lovers out there.

I LOVE pistachio gelato and have had it on my list of things to make forever.

These strawberry shortcake ice cream bars bring back ALL the nostalgia of childhood. I used to love the store bought version when I was a kid so this homemade version totally brings me back.

Peanut butter cookies AND peanut butter ripple? Sign.Me.Up.

This amaretto poppyseed ice cream sounds unique and delicious.
