We celebrated Noah’s birthday at the Lincoln Children’s Museum. The kids had a great time running around playing at all the exhibits. I had a great time not having to clean up my house after they tore through it. It was a total win win.
After the official party, we had our family back to the house for pizza, presents and a piñata (because apparently it’s not a party without a piñata).
On his actual birthday we started the day with donuts then tried to go to the wave pool but bad weather rolled in and they closed so we went bowling instead. After bowling it was on to the theater to see Secret Life of Pets. We ended the night at his favorite restaurant HuHot and coffee cake and ice cream at home.
I still can’t believe this boy of mine is six. He is intelligent, creative, social, sensitive and kind. I love everything about him. Even that ornery side because that will make him a strong, confident man.
I had a great 30th this week too! Joel spoiled my mom and I and booked massages, sea salt scrubs, manicures and pedicures which made for an incredibly relaxing and fun day. That night we all went out to dinner and had cheesecake back at the house. We’re going out with some friends tonight to celebrate as well. Then July birthday week will come to an end.
Thanks for all the love this week! Hope you have a fabulous weekend and stay cool!
