Checking in for another Photo Friday. We’re talking gingerbread houses, dance class (oh my cuteness), some cool new food gadgets that I think I need and other fun things.
Hey guys. What have you been up to this week?
Hannah had her second dance class this week and oh my cuteness, I’m dying. I learned not to tell her she has dance until a couple hours before because she will ask about it constantly. And it’s the one time she’ll sit still and let me do her hair because if you don’t have “bun hair” you can’t go to dance class. Whatever works my friends.
We decorated a gingerbread house on Saturday because I made the mistake of buying it last week and underestimating my children’s inability to wait a few weeks to do it. They seriously asked about it all day, every day. I got ours at Trader Joe’s this year and it was completely adorable and relatively easy for Noah to do with our help. There were enough decorations for both of them to help and have a couple to snack on. If you get yours at TJ’s too and don’t read the instructions before starting (not that I would know or anything) you need an egg white and lemon juice. I may have used all the eggs for breakfast and had to run to the store. That makes for sad kids.
I have a couple more holiday recipes coming your way next week so keep an eye out for those. I’m still dreaming about the snickerdoodles I shared on Wednesday. I’m making these this weekend and hopefully updating the photos to show their true deliciousness.
Have you seen these food huggers? I’m kind of obsessed with the idea. I don’t know how many times I’ve wasted half a lemon or avocado because it got all dried out or gross in the fridge. Have you tried them? If you have, tell me what you think in the comments!
I’m thinking about doing a post of my favorite recipes I shared this year. Yay or nay? Have I been sharing too many round up type posts recently? Looking through my archives from the past year made me really proud and I may have drooled a little over all the delicious things. Let me know your opinion.
That’s all folks. Thanks for reading awesome people.
