Hey hey hey, it’s Friday and that means it’s time for Photo Friday. I’m sharing photos from last weekend and some fun new finds.

On Saturday we went to an Easter Egg hunt that our church hosted. It was more like an Easter egg dash since they just dumped huge rubbermaid containers full of eggs all over a big area then set the kids loose. The kids got free candy so they were good with it.
We headed straight to Noah’s school carnival after the Easter egg hunt. It was filled with bounce houses and carnival games all down the halls. They even had a snow cone cart which was a new and very popular addition this year. We bought 2 raffle tickets and ended up winning a kite and a CD player. Noah was so pumped and I was glad it wasn’t complete junk that we were bringing home.
The boys also did a little baseball practice over the weekend since the season will be starting up soon. Baseball is Noah’s favorite sport and this will be his first year having to hit pitches rather than off a tee. He’s usually a pretty bouncy, squirrely kid but he can keep an eye on a baseball.
We had perfect kite flying weather too so we took it out for a spin. We only had to go sprinting after it twice when she decided that digging in the dirt was better than holding the string.
Hannah has been obsessed with the Trolls soundtrack right now so the Easter bunny is putting that in her basket. Noah does Kidz Bop at school so he’s getting one of those CD to play in his new CD player.
A quilter I follow on Instagram posted about this fabric a couple months ago and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head so I finally bought a yard of it. I love that it combines two of my favorite hobbies, cooking and quilting. I don’t have any solid plans for it yet but I’m leaning towards a bold black and white quilt of some kind for our living room. Maybe triangles or plus signs? If you have any fun pattern ideas, let me know in the comments.
So maybe you guys all know about this and I’m just completely out of the loop but Barnes and Noble does a kids summer reading program (1st-6th grade). If they read 8 books throughout the summer they receive a free book. Pretty good deal considering we are big readers around here. Just thought I would let you know since summer is about to creep up on us. You can find more information here.
That’s all I’ve got today. Have an amazing weekend!
