I actually have some recent photos to share for today’s Photo Friday post! I captured Noah’s last flag football game as well as Hannah’s new favorite game to play this week. And of course I’ll share some favorites.
Noah’s last flag football game was Monday. He seemed to like it but his true sport love is baseball all the way. He’s so ready to get started next month on his coach pitch team and we practice several nights a week. But back to football, he got to run the ball and pulled someone’s flag which is always an exciting event for a 6 year old.
I’ve had a Lush gift card burning a hole in my pocket so I finally bit the bullet and used it online (I’ve had it since Christmas for goodness sake). I’m that person that hates paying shipping so I was trying to wait until I could get to a physical store but the closest one is an hour away and I just wasn’t seeing a visit in the foreseeable future. I’ve heard several people rave about this and I’m looking forward to trying it. My skin is generally pretty clear but I definitely have some redness and dry patches that I’d like to eliminate.
I’m also giving this a try to help moisturize. I really hate wearing makeup in the summertime Nebraska heat so hopefully these products are a success. Plus, apparently the no-makeup makeup look is in these days. I’m going for the straight up no makeup plan. FYI, this isn’t sponsored. I just love Lush and wanted to share what I was trying with you. Read here and here for my other favorite products.
Hannah has been obsessed with taking care of her “babies” lately. Babies is in quotes because she’s a stuffed animal kind of girl so that’s who is getting wrapped up, fed and put to bed. Her current favorite is this puppy. She bounces and pats her bottom and shush’s her ear. I also have to sit down when it’s my turn to hold her. That girl is hilarious.
Do you all have any fun weekend plans? We’re heading to Kansas City to visit Joel’s family and go to a Royal’s game on Saturday. The weather is supposed to be pretty nice so it should be a fun time. Kauffman field has a really cool kids area with a carousel, miniature golf and other fun games so I’m guessing that’s where I’ll be spending the majority of my time. I’m not a big sports fan so I’m down with it.
Although we won’t be home, this weekend marks the opening of farmer’s market season so I’m looking forward to that next week. Fresh farm eggs are sooo good and if they are available, I plan on stocking up on tomatoes so the salsa from earlier this week can happen again.
Have a great weekend!
