Plus, it will make you look all clear and glowy and I’m not mad about that.

Ingredients for DIY Coffee Scrub

  • Ground coffee
  • Brown sugar
  • Olive oil
  • Vitamin E oil
  • Essential oil

DIY Coffee Scrub Benefits

This DIY Coffee Scrub exfoliates and moisturizes at the same time. Obviously the coarseness of the coffee helps slough off any dry skin.

The brown sugar in the mix enhances the exfoliation game. Olive oil and vitamin E oil combine to make your skin crazy soft.

How to Use DIY Coffee Scrub

You can use it on your face, body and even your scalp. Guys, I have crazy dry skin and it has made a huge difference.

It smooths out rough patches, clears pores and also decreases the appearance of cellulite. What more could you ask for in a beauty product, right?

Essential Oil Options

This scrub also includes essential oils to enhance the scent of the scrub (although the coffee alone is dreamy).

There are also different benefits from the essential oils you choose to add. These vary on the type you choose.

I went with peppermint essential oil this time around to make it extra festive. Peppermint is also know to soothe headaches and itchiness.

You can use any essential oil that you love to scent and infuse the scrub. I’ve used orange in the past which helps boost your mood and get you going making it a great option for your morning routine.

And lavender is a great nighttime option to help you relax and get to sleep easier.

Let me know in the comments what essential oil(s) you decide to use.

If you don’t have any essential oils or they aren’t your thing, just leave them out. It will smell like straight coffee which isn’t a bad thing either.

How to Make DIY Coffee Scrub

All you need is a few minutes to make this scrub. Grab your ingredients, measure them into a bowl and mix. That’s it.

It’s a great thrifty gift option if you’re on a small budget. Or if you love making handmade gifts.

Make it Cute

This “recipe” makes a little more than a pint-sized mason jar so keep that in mind if you’re making gifts for several people.

I think these little mason jars are adorable for gifting with these cute chalkboard labels to stick on them and let people know what they are receiving.

Whether you’re getting together with friends for a craft night or making homemade gifts for the holidays, this DIY Coffee Scrub will surely be a hit.
