2017 Reader Favorite Recipes

2017 Reader Favorite Recipes

Today I’m sharing a list of 2017 Reader Favorite Recipes. From appetizers to main dishes to dessert, these are all your favorite recipes shared this year on Meg’s Everyday Indulgence.

As we wrap up this crazy, exciting and busy year I wanted to take some time to look back on the past 12 months to see what you all loved, cooked and viewed the most. It’s always interesting to see which posts were most popular and helpful in planning for the upcoming year. There is a really great mix and variety of courses and dishes this year and I’m sharing the top 17 with you all today.

Thank you for taking time to read posts, cook recipes, share, comment and provide feedback throughout the year. Your support and readership mean the world to me and I’m so grateful you stop by this little space of mine.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and have a happy New Years.

#1 Hibachi Chicken

I was so surprised by the immediate popularity of this hibachi chicken. Not that it’s not delicious but it’s something I’ve been making for years and just never thought to share. The fact that it’s only a few ingredients and a super quick fix definitely makes sense. Plus, who can afford to go to a Japanese steak house too often? Now you can make it at home.

#2 Homemade Coffee Syrups

I’m so glad these homemade coffee syrups were a favorite this year with you all because they are in the top 5 for me too. I make one every week to stir into my cold brew coffee each morning. My current favorite for the season is the chocolate mint. I shared two other varieties, vanilla cupcake and brown sugar cinnamon, as well. They only take minutes to make and can be stored in the fridge.

I was surprised to see this one on the list. Don’t get me wrong, they are completely delicious (and freeze well too) but they are a pretty simple side dish without much glamour. That’s why I love doing these at the end of the year.
