I LOVE a burger sauce. It’s always the deciding factor when we go to a new burger place. Do they have a signature sauce? Which burgers have their sauce? Must choose one of those burgers.

I am a condiment kind of person. They are of the utmost importance in sandwich and burger situations. You can tell I’m passionate about this.

So naturally, I needed to create my own classic burger sauce to slather on burgers ALL summer long. There are a lot of recipes out there for burger sauces but I’m really digging this version.

It’s a little lighter on the ketchup than most because I’ve never been a huge fan of ketchup and prefer the creaminess of the mayo to shine through.

This burger sauce is also a little heavier on the relish, dill to be exact. Pickles are one of my favorite foods so I added a little more relish to my sauce. I also prefer dill relish so I went that route. If you like sweet relish better, go ahead and use that instead.

For some added richness and depth, I added some Worcestershire sauce. It just adds that extra little something that you can’t quite place but helps round out the burger sauce.

Lastly, a few spices are mixed in to add a little punch of flavor. Onion powder and garlic powder add depth and pepper brings a little spice to the party.

You can make this burger sauce ahead of time. I personally think it tastes even better if the flavors have had some time to mingle together.

Invite over some friends, throw some burgers on the grill and slather them in burger sauce. Your house will quickly become the gathering place for all the summer barbecues.
