Ingredients

  • Peanut oil, for frying
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup beer
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 lbs. cheese curds

Instructions

  • Pour about 2 inches of oil into a large, heavy bottomed skillet. Heat oil to 375 degrees F. Meanwhile, in a large bowl mix together milk, beer, eggs, salt and flour.
  • Add cheese curds to the batter and shake a bit to remove excess batter. Place in the hot oil and cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden brown. Serve with ranch or marinara for dipping.
