Making your own Beef Lo Mein at home is easier than you may think. A few classic Asian ingredients from the grocery store will result in better than takeout in just minutes at home.
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook noodles according to package directions.
Meanwhile, cut flank steak against the grain into bite size pieces. In a small bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, sesame oil and honey. Set aside.
Heat a large wok or skillet over medium high heat. Add canola oil. Add beef and cook 1 minute per side. Add broccoli, cabbage and carrots and cook 2 to 3 minutes, until slightly wilted.
Add noodles and sauce to skillet and toss to coat. Cook 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly. Sprinkle with green onions and serve.
