Easy Cinnamon Twists

Thanks to Rhodes bread dough, these Easy Cinnamon Twists are simple to whip up with just four ingredients. Perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

  • 8 Rhodes rolls
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • vegetable or canola oil, for frying

Instructions

  • Thaw and rise rolls according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a shallow dish, mix together the sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
  • Once the rolls are risen, cut each in half. Roll each half into a rope about six inches long. Twist together two and pinch together on each end to seal. Repeat with remaining dough.
  • Add one inch or oil to a cast iron skillet. Heat over medium heat until it reaches about 325 degrees F. Once hot, add a few twists. Cook one to two minutes per side, until golden. Remove from oil and place directly in the cinnamon sugar. Toss well. Enjoy right away.
